Why use a Credit Card for Food and Beverage Expenses?

Payroll

Pay Food and Beverage Expenses

Paying key food and beverage suppliers with your credit card can improve cash flow by giving you extra days before the funds leave your account. At the same time, you earn valuable credit card reward points on every payment AND can choose to earn extra loyalty partner points on every payment on top.

For example

Pay $30,000 a month to three suppliers on an American Express Platinum Business Card and you’ll spend $360,000 a year.
At 2.25 MR points per $1, that’s up to 810,000 Membership Rewards points annually — enough for up to 2 return business‑class flights to Singapore or a return business‑class flight to Europe, simply by paying suppliers you already use*.

Estimated Annual American Express MR Points * After 12 Months

810,000

*Estimated points are illustrative only and correct at time of writing. Actual points earned may vary depending on your Card type, eligible spend, and American Express terms and conditions. Flight redemption estimates are indicative only and subject to airline rewards pricing and availability.

Earn Rewards on Every Dollar Spent

Convert your substantial supplier spending into valuable rewards points instead of earning nothing with bank transfers. A restaurant spending $20,000 monthly on ingredients or a distributor paying $50,000 quarterly can earn tens of thousands of points annually—enough for flights, hotels, or cashback that effectively offset RewardPay's service fee while turning mandatory expenses into tangible business or personal benefits.

Improve Cashflow

Bridge the Cash Flow Gap

Food and beverage businesses face a critical timing mismatch: suppliers demand payment within 15-30 days while customers take 30-90 days to pay. RewardPay gives you up to 55 days of interest-free credit to pay suppliers on time while waiting for customer payments, helping you manage seasonal inventory buildups and maintain operations during slower periods without cash flow stress.

Protect Margins and Supplier Relationships

With razor-thin margins, food and beverage businesses can't afford supplier relationship problems. Pay suppliers promptly to secure quality ingredients, favorable terms, and priority service during shortages—all while preserving working capital for payroll, utilities, and unexpected opportunities like bulk discounts or equipment deals that improve your bottom line.

RewardPay helps business owners pay food and beverage and other business bills and earn rewards – so you get something back for your hard work.
